Boxing Day Snow

Unfortunately I've been a bit poorly this week with a nasty chest infection amongst other things so i couldn't get out on Sunday morning. When the snow arrived on Boxing Day i got myself well wrapped up with my winter gear, put my camera on a tripod and took a big black umbrella to protect it. My plan was to just walk around the block to take a few night/snow pics. It took me about half an hour and i was knackered when i got back home. I processed my pics and stuck some on various face book pages.
The next morning i felt OK so against my better judgement i thought i am not going to miss this snow it'll probably be gone in another day. So i set off down to the Belper River Gardens, did a few pics around there and walked up Bridge Hill to Shire Oaks snapping anything interesting. I walked to the top of Shire Oaks and got some nice tree shots then across the footpath to Belper Lane and back home. So i hope these few pics will keep you amused, they re a mixture of black & white colour and the odd sepia. Starts with the sunrise on Christmas Day, snow pics on the evening of Boxing Day followed by the daytime shots in the snow on Saturday.
