Loch Long Scotland

Had a great 5 days away with our favourite coach company Lochs and Glens. We went with our friends from Codnor and Mary's sister. The coach picks up from Ripley market place and we're on our way. We stop a couple of time on the way up to Loch Long for lunch and toilet breaks and pull into the hotel in time to get freshened up and changed for a 3 course meal. The 5 of us then retreat into the entertainment room.
Lochs and Glens take you out every day, we went through Ranoch Moor and Glencoe to Fort William on the first day. The second day was a trip to Edinburgh and the third day we went to Inveraray, called in at Loch Awe hotel for lunch before going on a cruise on Loch Lomond. All the trips are brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The pics are typical of what we experienced and not really in any particular order.

From a photographers point of view it was very frustrating being on a coach driving through these places like Ranoch Moor and Glencoe you just want to shout Stop The Bus and let me take some pics. We had a mixed bag of weather but no rain. Our coach driver wee Stevie was mad as a hatter but great fun. There was a daily quiz and our team won three of them, not bad for a group of misfits.
Normal blog resumes next week.
Cheers
