The weather forecast was bad after 09:00 but we thought we would give it a go anyway. It was Robs turn to drive and we parked up in the village of Alport and it was just cloudy and dull. We set off up the footpath towards the river and eventually ended up at the old stone bridge near Raper Lodge. This bridge spanned over the River Lathkill and had a small horseshoe weir upstream. It had started to rain and the big camera got put away into my rucksack and the little camera just came out occasionally. Ike had even brought an umbrella We wandered up through Youlgrave and Bradford then back down to the river where we found a shelter for our breakfast. After breakfast we cut our walk short due to the rain and legged it back to the car.

Due to the bad weather i'm afraid there's not many pics this week and a dubious quality. Nevertheless it was still an interesting walk.
See you next week and hope for better weather.
