On the Tissington Trail

All 4 of us today and Geoff had planned a walk along the Tissington Trail and back through country lanes. We set off in the dark and it was still the blue hour when we parked up right up the well opposite the hall. We got booted up and went past the village pond to the trail. A bit further along the trail we saw the golden glow and then sun come up over in the next valley. The trail is reasonably level with a good solid surface then we followed a footpath sign which lead us across the fields in part very damp and wet. We got back to Tissington and had our breakfast sitting on the bench next to the Hall Well then had a wander into the church.

A lovely leisurely morning walk not quite 4 miles where we put the world right once again.
See you next week.
