Loch Tummel March 2019

Just back from a fab week in Scotland with family and good friends. We went with our favourites Lochs and Glens Coach Holidays and our destination was Loch Tummel. The journey up had a couple of stops notably Moffatt and i had a quick wander around town including the Spitfire and the memorial to Air Chief Marshall Hugh Dowding who was born in Moffatt.
Te first days visit we went to Blair Castle and then Rannoch Station where the movie Train Spotters was shot. A bonus there was the appearance of the deer.
After a great sunrise went to the Glenshee Ski Centre then onto Braemar Castle, Balmoral but the Queen wasn't in although we had a look at the church she goes to on a Sunday.and then onto Ballater. We called into Braemar on the way back and had a look around the town.
The next morning we called in to look at the Queens View before heading up to St. Andrews. We had a quick snack then i had a walk around the town and just snapped what i liked the look of including the ruins of the cathedral and castle.
Apologies for all the pics of the Old Water Mill on the river opposite the hotel but the light changes that often it just had to be done.
