Another trip to the Nine Ladies Stone Circle.

Just 3 of us this week and it was Ike's turn to drive in his new car, me , Geoff and Ike, didn't have a clue where we were going so headed north and ended up at the Nine Ladies Stone Circle. We've been here several times in the past but thought it would be mud free and its got reasonably flat footpaths/tracks. The temperature gauge was showing only 2 degrees when i went out and it felt like it brr. We decided to go anti clockwise from the Corkstone, straight over the moor, past Earl Grey's Tower and into the Nine Ladies Stone Circle. We had a wander around did a few (lots) of pics. We then went down a track that none of us had been to and ended up at the building with the transmission towers. There were 2 Robins hopping about, not sure if they were mates or rivals for the territory. We found another track leading us back towards the 9LSC through an old quarry and we stopped off for some breakfast. Eventually got back to the 9LSC and noticed lots of runners coming through. Did a few more pics then back on the track to the car.

  1. Love it up there, used to have a client who lived nearby and I'd often go up there after a meeting.
