A visit to Kenslow Knoll

Three of us today and we went up the A6 then across to Middleton where we had been a couple of weeks ago. We parked in the centre of the village. We headed west up the hill then up Whitfield Lane, past Kenslow Farm and the Little Rookery Plantation and eventually up to Kenslow Knoll. We set off in the dark and it was still gloomy when we arrived at Middleton. It was getting clearer by the time we got to Kenslow Knoll and on the way back we had a bit of sunshine. We encountered a few high styles on the way back and Geoff was taking care to get over them.

You could say this was the heart of the village with the Defibrillator  in the phone box.

You couldn't even see this trailer 2 weeks ago because of the shrubbery

Another cracking little walk only 3 1/2 miles but its somewhere Geoff wanted to go and see. On a clear day there would be some fantastic views from Kenslow Knoll, we will return.
