4 of us today and with good weather forecast it was a rerun of a trip to the Tissington Trail because the last time it was misty and we missed all the nice views.Robs turn to drive and we set off at 06:00 and parked just on the verge outside the hall.We walked down through the village and past the duck pond then onto the trail and headed north. The sun was just coming above the horizon and we could see Minninglow way off in the distance. It got a bit windy and cool so i had to put my hat and gloves on. We walked right to the shelter near the Stonepit Plantation. We had our breakfast there then headed back the way we had come. Part way down the trail we took footpath that was a bit of a shortcut back to Tissington. The footpath went over fields then onto a green lane and eventually into Tissington. We past over a couple of styles and gates, one in particular where Ike was first so he climbed over the style but Rob just opened the gate and the rest of us passed through, Ike was not amused.
