A week in the Lake District

We had a great week up in the lakes with family and friends on a coach trip with Shearings.
We have never stayed in the lakes before and fortunately we picked a brilliant week with wall to wall sunshine for the first 3 days and then a bit of mist after that.
We stayed in the Windermere Hotel in Windermere and visited several places including Kendal, Keswick, Grassmere, Bowness and stops in between. On most mornings i was up at 05:00 and legged up to the top of Ossett Head for the sunrise or down to Millerground Landing on Windermere.
Its true a picture is worth a thousand words so ill just let the pictures speak.
This sign is about 100M from the hotel front door
